Purpose and Record Sources
Michigan public-record rules do not make every record easy to locate. KCCF’s viewer is the official first route for current county booking information. The sheriff’s records unit handles county records that are not in the viewer. The arresting city controls its police report, and the court controls the case file and disposition. OTIS is a separate state-custody source for people under Michigan Department of Corrections supervision. This site gathers those official paths in a readable local format without copying their records or images.
What the Reference Covers
Readers can use the site to distinguish official sources from news or private indexes and to understand the custody stage behind a result.
- The county-wide KCCF booking search, current-custody limits, and records-request route.
- City-specific police, court, and news-release paths for Grand Rapids, Wyoming, and Kentwood.
- How to check a court outcome after booking, rather than treating a charge as a result.
- Where to locate state, federal, or immigration custody tools when they answer a different question.
Limits of This Private Service
This site is independently operated. It is not connected with Kent County, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, KCCF, any police department, the Michigan Department of Corrections, or another government office. It cannot release or transfer anyone, post bond, schedule a visit, give legal advice, or guarantee that an address, fee, status, or contact number is current.
Only the responsible public office can verify present custody, charged offenses, release status, or an official record. A search result is not an official confirmation.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes supplied by third-party providers. Those providers set their own terms, results, and prices. If a partner tool leads to a paid signup, this site may receive a referral fee that helps support the service. That possibility does not give this site control over a provider’s data, price, or outcome.
